With warm and friendly artworks from award-winning artist Anthony Lewis, Animals Around the World contains more than 70 flaps to open. It is the perfect interactive introduction to animal habitats for young children, who will delight in the scene changes that are revealed as they open the flaps.

Very useful interactive book for toddlers. Teaching variety of animals, climates and flora. Also with “Lift the Flap” tool it is getting very fun and instructive. I do recommend every parents to get one.
Animals Around the World is a very informative non-fiction book for nursery and primary readers. The book lists multiple habitats around the world and gives plenty of examples of animals that live in each one. The desert, the rainforest, and the woodlands are a few examples of the habitats discussed. Along with naming animals in each habitat, characteristics and survival tactics are provided about the animals. Children can really learn a lot from reading this book! I think this book is appealing to young readers because of the colorful, detailed pictures. Also, this book has 50 flaps to lift which reveals a fact about the animal when lifted. Animals Around the World can relate to many lesson plans constructed by teachers. One topic that can be discussed is different climates and geographic areas throughout the world. There is a nice map on the first page which shows the world and climates. You could also use this book to teach about the different forms of life such as birds, mammals, and fish. One more example is using this book to instruct about animals and their habitats.
I really looking through and reading the book! The book mentioned the animals that are most prevalent in different climates. This is a very interactive and informative book. My students would benefit and learn a lot from this book. As a result, I would definitely have this available in my classroom, even if I am an educator for upper-elementary children.
