About the author

Rick Lyttle, who was born in Los Angeles in 1927, has been making prints for a good part of his adult life. He grew up on a ranch, served in the U.S. Navy during the closing months of World War II and then entered the University of California at Berkeley where he majored in English.

After graduating, he worked as a ranch hand, reporter and editor, bar tender, school bus driver, teacher, and freelance writer more or less in that order. He has written forty-one books, some of which carry his own illustrations. He began exploring printmaking in the fifties, first with relief prints and later with etchings.

His interest in printing led him back Indian Valley College in Novato and later to Sonoma State University in Rhonert Park. He has studied under Shane Whare, Kate Delos, Bud Gralapp, Walt Kuhlman, Mark Perlman, Ted Greer, Kent Rupp and several other outstanding teachers.

Lyttle uses a variety of techniques, and his images range from the abstract to the whimsical and from figures and landscapes to still life and portraits. His work has appeared in more than 100 juried shows.

He is a member of the California Society of Printmakers (www.caprintmakers.com) and has participated in Point Reyes Open Studios (www.pointryesart.com) for the past several seasons.

The beginning is boring but when Mussolini rise to the power the books becomes more interesting and engaging. this books in a biography of the whole life of Benito Mussolini, the italian dictator during the Second World War, when Italy was under the cdontrol of the Fascist regime. this book explain the reason why Mussolini make his choices and why those had led him to the defet. This book is pretty accurate in the details of his life, of his early years, about his politics cariare, about the rise to the power and the fall of the fascist empire.
