Derek Jeter is a true superstar. The seven-time All-Star and three-time Gold Glove winner was the American League Rookie of the Year in 1996 and the World Series MVP in 2000. This work explores the life of a celebrated athlete who is well on his way to becoming a Yankees legend on par with Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Mickey Mantle, and Joe DiMaggio.

I rated this book 4 stars. I rated this book 4 stars because it is a great book just overall I think it was the best biography I have ever read. I dont read biographys very much but the three books i read this quarter are all biographys because I am trying to get in to them more and this book may have done it. This is not just a good biography it is a good overall book and I preferr it to any baseball fan exept for boston red sox fans might not like it.

Derek Jeter is an amazing baseball player. He's now on the Yankees because he was drafted to be their starting shortstop. This book is a good choice to read, but you have to like baseball to like this book. This isn't a good example of a biography because the author uses to many quotes from Derek Jeter. Overall, I didn't really like this book. It didn't keep my attention.
