An interesting look at an original performer. Learned lots tat I did not know about the early years and how hard work in Hamburg led to amazing success. I have always been a fan, now I know some of the back story
I grew up with The Beatles, so I enjoyed ready this book a long time after John died. I already knew a lot of this stuff, but there were many things I didn't know so it was worth the read. Enjoy it.
I read this book whilst in hospital recovering from an operation, a fascinating book about the life of John Lennon. I finished reading it within 2 days.
