The most beautiful set of essays about the seasons of nature. I’m sad that this book is out of print and more people won’t read it.

I love this book and could re-read it over and over again. Excellent prose and insight into life and nature.

This is a book of short essays about place; that place being Island Park, ID. I would love to have met this guy. I probably read through this twice a year. I reread it when I get to the end, kind like a daily meditation book.
