I bought this book only to find that it's tiny; only like 3 inches wide. Despite the very limited real estate, literally the first half the book is paragraphs of text about professionalism, aimed at very young graduates. The second half has some tables and data but still has loads of paragraphs of text. I wanted a databook, not a tiny textbook. I would not recommend.

This is a handy little tiny databook. Consider though that when you go through, you wont find everything you're looking for. I was hoping for a wider range of formula from fluids and classical mechanics. But what I got was probably more than 100 pages of talking about careers and professionalism. All of those pages are completely useless in my opinion. What you get is a very small book, half of which is aimed at undergraduates looking to be a professional. It feels a little like a marketing gimmick for the IMechE. The second half of the book though is okay - it does reference some standards for example - so if I had the option I would give it a middle-of-the-road, somewhere around 2.5/5
