This has taken me nearly two years to read ... not that I didn't like it, but because its definitely something you need to dip in and out of as needed, rather than reading it one hit. It's a nice idea - a way of helping people through the stages of grief with poetry, prose and little thoughts to dwell on. On occasions, I felt it became a bit too religion based, but on the whole found it a good read.

A good collection of poems and passages. As with any anthology some "hit the spot" better than others. Whenever I sat down and read it I found the odd sentence to note down and reflect on.

I started this way back and have slowly been reading this anthology. What a beautiful collection of hope for the grieving heart. From starting in the heart of grief, to the hope that lies in the emerging from the grips of grief, there was so much gold here. Some of the poems or book excerpts were from books of old, so i found those ones hard to read / understand / take in fully but there were some incredible pieces that really hit home…and hope.
