Under the Wings of My Grandmother is a blend of my true early life story and analysis of the various stages of love, loss and grief I experienced. It depicts how the stigma of being born out of wedlock during the 40's impacted my life. I share how the compassion, love and teaching of my grandmother with innate wisdom were engrained in the very fabric of my being. I was inspired to write this book in order to encourage others who are going through or have experienced some of the same, of what I call, wilderness experiences to know there is healing and they are not alone.
