About the Book “You Can Share My Daddy” is a bereavement book about a set of 10 year old fraternal bi-racial twins whose firefighter dad passed away a month before they were born. He went in a home to save a set of twins whose mom pleaded for his assistance. He was injured during a floor collapse, but not before getting the twins to safety. His crew at his fire station became godparents to the twins and their brother Renard. They also had some schoolmates who lost their dad, so they stepped into action to mentor and support them, along with their school. Through research, the principal, school nurse and a counselor was able to connect with this organization that recruited men to be a dads for a day. All the children benefited, even Mitchell and Shell Vanessa.
