This is for sure a "niche read" but it is really incredible if it's your niche. If you had ancestors involved with the 1693 recolonization of New Mexico or are just interested in it, the hefty price tag is worth every penny.
This volume is about Vargas' initial entrada and his contact with the Pueblos.
