I enjoy reading this series and will continue reading it (hopefully with my niece and nephews). The series is written in French and English for better comprehension. The lessons and messages are actually good.
In this story, a boy from Greenland who was told he could not venture to the New World with a ship crew defies them and join in the journey anyway. He ends up being an asset and leaving his mark in the New World. A little girl has a dream about this boy's adventure and shares the story with her class. The little girl's teacher tells her it's not a true story but she believes it to be real. There are a few great messages in this story such as believe in yourself, follow your dream, don't listen to other people when they tell you something isn't real, etc.

This is a nice, easily understood story about a Viking who travels to the New World. It's helpful for learning French.
