Everyone has a nickname, and "Speedy" is our narrator on this interesting, fantastical ride he calls his life. The style of writing is very similar to the Rugrats, a show on which both writers have worked. It has a very Nickolodian-esque pace with flying donuts and evil characters in the form of teenage babysitters who try to dominate the smaller kids. This is a chapter book series for preteens.

dear lord ... this book needed help! it was an attempt to be a funny kids book, but it just got on my nerves. i actually read a little more than half of it and then just couldn't stand it anymore! my students might like it, so i will put it in my library.
