Interview with MAJ Randy James, Part II
MAJ Randy James served as the aviation unit maintenance commander for the 4th Battalion, 227th Regiment, 1st Cavalry during 2006 and 2007 in Baghdad, Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). In this October 2008 interview, MAJ James discusses his efforts to integrate new members into their team, the movement of his team and equipment over to Camp Taji, and his typical mission day of maintaining the battalion's aircraft. MAJ James observes that his biggest professional lesson learned was to "Know yourself and don't hesitate."
