Membre du Conseil supérieur des colonies, il est chargé de missions officielles en Abyssinie et en Côte-d'Ivoire.


Robert Charles Henri Le Roux, better known by hisnom de plume Hugues Le Roux was a French journalist, writer and politician, senator under the Third Republic. He specialized in travel literature and in works concerning the French colonies in Africa.

Member of the Conseil supérieur des colonies, he was in charge of official missions in Abyssinia and Ivory Coast.
