I had hoped for more of a reference book on practical applications of growing succulents and cacti. This was more of a quick glance at different species of succulents and cacti from all over the world.

So, while it was very interesting, it didn’t have a whole lot of real world applications to it. The parts that did offer practical applications mostly were about cultivating an outdoor garden.

I’d skip this unless you just want to learn about interesting species you can’t cultivate.
