I've only just discovered this author, and what a lovely collection to start with! Whilst each story can be read as a standalone (they're available individually) the box set ensures they are read in the correct order to get to know some of the regular characters in more depth. Horses feature heavily in the tales, as one would expect, but as a non-rider there was nothing I didn't understand. The descriptions in each book give a lovely background for each season so that I could easily imagine the picturesque scenery as it changed through the year. Each romance is different, bringing challenges, and although some twists might not be surprising I thought each plotline was realistic and emotional. It was a pleasure to read clean romances with heart, and I am looking forward to reading the next collection..
