Billy Palmer grew up in a sleepy rural village, but his dreams were always for something else, something beyond the world he knew. This title presents tale of one man's search for the life he's imagined.
Overall a good novel. What I found extremely irritating is the jump in timelines of the main character, it takes you at least ten pages into the new section to find out what happened in the interim. Good plot and believable characters. Character development is excellent. Main theme: Hiding behind the written word and not looking in the mirror and changing who we are or at the least growing up and accepting responsibility for your own flaws.
