This book charts the rise and fall of Gen. Pervez Musharraf, Pakistan's most controversial leader since Zulfikar Afi Bhutto. We see different aspects of the soldier-turned politician: the self-styled statesman, the sophisticated globetrotter, the resolute face of the US-led gloval war on terror, the secular politicians' bete noire, the Islamists' pet peeve, and most of all, the feared, revered and finally disowned president of Pakistan.
Brilliant writing , lucid narration of events and interviews. The author has managed to about a person without meeting him . I found the book extremely engrossing. He has stuck facts and views expressed by many and not give an opinion of his own. Mark if a true writer.
