Good basic workbook for learning Spanish. The layout and lessons are very simple and easy to read and comprehend. I like that the book includes the very basics like numbers, colors, letters (including how the letters are pronounced), days of the week, and months. The little illustrations of the people are really cute too.

I don't understand the purpose of the index of sentences at the end of the book, as it's just basically a repeat of what was already listed in the book.

I did like the method of teaching sentences, where certain words were bolded and from there you could figure out what the rest of the sentence translates to. This portion could go either way, as in a Spanish speaker could use the sentences portion to learn English as well. The intro and instructions are both in Spanish and English.

Overall a decent book to help you learn basic Spanish.

Learn Basic Spanish by Adriana Muñoz is a language workbook of a series called Spanish For Beginners.
This workbook has a little more complexity. Showing the alphabet, main colors, numbers, expressions, verbs, and adjectives.
The Spanish language can be quite difficult at first. However, the method provided by the author makes the reading and studying light and breezy. With her distinctive visual learning technique, you learn the complexities of the Spanish language dynamically. It is enjoyable to read, and the best part is that while you learn, you're entertained as well.
The best part is that the technique the author provides is perfect for those learners, like myself, that unfocused easily, especially if it's monotonous reading. I was really hyped and focused the whole read. Would recommend it!

The third book is all about learning the really important parts of a language, verbs, adjectives, nouns, and much more. It continues with the fast-paced learning theme of the entire series, which promotes learning Spanish in a quick and efficient manner.

It’s another great book in the series, and another way to learn a beautiful language quickly!

I certainly recommend the whole series along with every single book in it because they’re so well-done and have proper educational tools.

This is a very easy to use resource which aim is to teach some of the basic Spanish content. For instance, colors, family members, the alphabet, numbers and common expressions are included.
Several things are good about this title. The index is more than well organized; the words or sentences appear in alphabetic order making the reading process quicker.
The Spanish-English system is perfectly mixed to a better understanding and the pictures that accompany the vocabulary are of a vibrant tonality.
My only criticism is that the topics aren’t completely covered with handwriting exercises, although there are several in its pages, I don’t think they are enough.
All in all, I strongly believe this is a good guide for beginners.

A concise and helpful guide
When it comes to learning a new language, it's necessary to study vocabulary related to different fields in the language. In “Learn Basic Spanish” by Adriana Muñoz, readers will learn a lot about this rich language.
Every chapter deals with content presented in English and its counterpart in Spanish. There are many contextualized examples that help learners to understand the target language. Apart from that, there are images with the vocabulary which makes it easy to comprehend the terms. I found it concise and simple to understand and apply it after reading it. It truly helps to start learning the basics of Spanish. Even though it deals with the basics of Spanish, for sure, it will open doors to keep on studying so I highly recommend it.

Spanish for beginners.

Learn Basic Spanish: Expand Your Vocabulary By Learning The Alphabet, Colors, Numbers, Expressions, Verbs, Adjectives, & Much More is the third book in the series by Adriana Muñoz. As listed in the title, this book offers a lot of options to enlarge your vocabulary and your knowledge of Spanish.
After reading several books of this series, I can say that it's great. I think the author was constantly improving from the first installment to here. The information is useful, well organized and easy to understand. Also, it includes images and examples that improve the comprehension of the texts.
I recommend it for beginners who are learning Spanish. Although you will not become an expert, you can really learn a lot!

Easy to understand and to follow.


Paired with other Spanish learning books and resources from Adriana Muñoz, this is a great resource for learning basic Spanish. Honestly for a self-learner this is an addition to my Spanish learning book. I enjoyed how she paired the alphabet with names of places, it is easier to sound out the letters this way. The illustrations paired with the words and phrases helps with the retention, as people are more likely to remember if we associate with visuals. Also, I appreciate the examples and the explanation of each part of speech that she discusses within the book, both in English and Spanish. This is one of the books that is recommended for basic Spanish learners like me, easy to understand and to follow.

Adriana Muñoz made this useful and complete book to learn Spanish in an easy way. In this book, you will find the techniques to learn through a complete vocabulary with numbers, colors, expressions, verbs, and adjectives with the common words used by a native Spanish speaker. This is book 3 of the series Learning Spanish for Beginners; the author wrote a fantastic book very well described with creative images that are going to help you to have a better understanding. The author has a creative way of helping people learn easily and quickly. I have to say that this is a really good book and I highly recommend it to everyone who is in this process. Also, I recommend buying the other books to have complete learning.

“Learn Basic Spanish: Expand Your Vocabulary” by Adriana Muñoz is another Spanish language learning book by this excellent author. Within its pages you will learn how to expand your Spanish vocabulary with numbers, colours, adjectives, the alphabet, expressions, verbs and so forth. What I really appreciate about this book is the way it is laid out and built up. It goes from teaching us the simpler things such as how to present yourself, how to read the time in Spanish and family words. Only after introducing us to these and other more easily learned Spanish words and phrases, does the book go on to teach us the more advanced things such as entire sentences for easy and effective communication in Spanish. This book definitely deserves five stars.

Within the very useful pages of the language book, “Learn Basic Spanish: Expand Your Vocabulary” by Adriana Muñoz, we learn how to master basic Spanish for easy communication. The book is set out in a very systematic and logical way. It teaches us the simpler things first and makes sure we have a thorough understanding of the alphabet, numbers, adjectives, expressions, colors and so forth before going on to teach things that require more time and skill. These are things such as full sentences, questions and exclamations so that one has no problems communicating well with native Spanish speakers. What I also really like about this book is that there are illustrations together with the words and sentences, making them much easier to remember.

Whereas the first two books included flash cards and phrases, this book is more geared toward teaching Spanish from square one. It starts off by teaching Spanish letters and their sounds, including vowels and consonants, and then basic vocabulary, like numbers and colors. I would guess this covers about one semester’s worth of basic Spanish. If I hadn’t read the other two, I might’ve started with this one, as it is a bit more comprehensive. I think it’s a good tool if you are reviewing Spanish after a long time, like myself.

Learn Basic Spanish by Adriana Munoz is a quick and easy guide to learn Spanish from the basics of alphabets and numbers. This guide contains alphabets, numbers, and colors and so on to grasp Spanish from the basics. The phrases are child friendly, too, that makes it best for kids, too. Also included are vowels and consonants, personal pronouns, and verbs that cement the foundation strong in learning language. Ms. Adriana has structured this book in a simplified manner that makes it for the learners to understand quickly. I enjoyed learning a little portion every day. It's stress free and enjoyable. Effective study methodology, I highly recommend it to everyone for adults and children alike.

This is not the first book I read about learning Spanish from Adriana Muñoz, but I think it is one of the most important ones.

Learn Basic Spanish is a book destined to people who enjoy challenges, that´s the case when learning a new language. It's a difficult path, but with the right guidance, it won´t be so terrible.

In this delivery, the author focuses on the Alphabet, colors, common expressions, and more. It covers the basics, and I like that it's written both in Spanish and in English, so it was possible for me to check if I was understanding or not; I think it helped me to improve.

This book is a good option since it teaches the reader what is important to know about basic Spanish vocabulary. What is nice about the book is the more than easy format, it's full of pictures and with a big alphabet at the end which includes every single word or expression.
Once the concepts in this book are mostly internalized, the reader can move on to a deeper treatment of the subject of grammar and it will seem easier because this book will have primed you for the more advanced topics.
Reading this book was time well invested. I highly recommend this title to anyone who wants to learn Spanish.

I found this book looking for some reading to complement my sister's Spanish classes, and this was a very good option. There are a few things that I think are really well thought. The table of contents showing what section the book has gives the reader a clear look on what this guide has to offer. The second thing I enjoyed were the images and the charts. It complements the text and the information part, and for me and my sister, having that helps with the learning a lot more.

Overall, a really clear, simple, yet super helpful book to add practice into learning spanish. I recommend this book to keep practicing.

Learning a second language is not easy at all, and much more so when it is Spanish. This book has everything a Spanish student needs.

What I would like to highlight is that this book, unlike others, has a practical part, which helps the student to improve.

I simply recommend it because I think it is a simple book with great resources for learning a second language. Without a doubt, it's a 5 star for me!

Learn Basic Spanish is a great addition to have if you are considering taking a trip and hoping to be able to communicate with natives who speak Spanish, which would make your trip easier with communication. It is a basic introduction, so it’s filled with simple words to learn, but it comes highly recommended as a great guide into the language. I like how the book provides a process for sounding out the words too, so that readers will know that they are using the words correctly when they are trying to communicate. A little added bonus is that the illustrations used through the book are enjoyable and add a festive tough to the guide.

Learn Basic Spanish is the third book in the series “Learning Spanish For Beginners” and starting from the base of the previous two (based on diagrammed learning in 30 days), its goal is the expansion of the vocabulary by specifically learning the alphabet, colors, numbers, expressions, verbs, and adjectives, among other things.
The strategy of the course is intelligent and effective, since from a basic learning the teaching is extended and deepens in the different aspects. This book is one more step on that didactic and useful ladder for any student.
This study book is easily understandable for any type of reader and extremely practical in its methods. It's really worth it!

Adriana Muñoz has done it again. This is the second book I read from her; I purchased this for my nephews who are Spanish beginners. This time, she has helped them acquire the language almost naturally. Thanks to Adriana, they seem to be learning it as if they were born in an Spanish-speaking
country.
Learning the basics, how to say the colors, the numbers as well as some expressions that any student may find useful are in this book and the author approached them in an easy-going way. Students seem to delve into this book’s pages as much as if they were reading a fairy tale. We loved it!
