Bella the Terrible’s candy is all gone—and Marlo the Menace is entirely responsible. Sasha, Suni, Carlos, Trevor, and Alex step in to try and make things right. But will Bella the Terrible ever forgive Marlo the Menace for eating all her tastiest treats?
Riya Aarini entered her small part of the world one summer day in the Pacific Northwest. She’s the creator of the What Was It Like series—engaging prompt journals that invite readers to join the fun of exploring their unique and collective histories. She also dabbles in an eclectic mix of genres, being drawn mostly to humor, paranormal comedy, and creative nonfiction.
This is a cute story about Bella, a monster who is upset that her friend ate all her candy! However, with help from her friends, Bella learns the importance of forgiveness and how friendship is strengthened by communication.
I read this story to my kids, ages 6 and 4, and they thought it was fun but they wanted it to be longer. I agree that the story seems a little stunted. If only there was a little bit more background information, descriptions, etc. this would likely be a 5-star children's book. It has an important message to teach kids and I hope the author does more Bella books with a longer storyline!

This book, in my opinion are good in educating children to be forgiving and not holding grudge over things.
It will be a good medium to let the kids see how this attribute are portrayed in life. Except that the story also incorporated monsters as its main characters. Well the book is for kids, therefore incorporating monsters is a good idea to keep the storyline fresh.
Apart from that, i think the illustrations is also on point, it is appealing to the visual senses. Love it!
I got this book for free from booksirens, thank you booksirens for giving me the chance to review it❤️
