Well worth the time and money
I'm kinda new to the 1911 having received a GSG 1911 in .22LR for my 52nd birthday last fall. (The GSG is a great gun to try to see if the 1911 frame is for you, cheap to buy and cheap to feed. Two inch groups with a scope and careful ammo selection at 25 yards too.) It was interesting to learn about the competition aspects as well as a review on many of the outstanding models available. I first read the handgun articles in Gun Digest when I get a new addition. This is like a full year of the best parts in one shot!
