I'm totally in love with this guide. Sigh. I just wish there were more of this kind, ideally to which destination I visit. I guess it's the informal prose, the insider style. Like I am reading a private guide written by a close friend for my eyes only. This is how like to travel: avoiding the obvious touristy spots. And soon it became obvious that I can have some help doing so while consulting this book. Definitely it's not one more book filling dozens of pages with the description on the endless corners of the blue mosque or the sultan's palace. Instead it's all about hidden pearls and out of the beaten path spots. Exactly the kind of places I love. Then I love the perfect maps showibg exact location of the places the author mentions. Perfect.
