Short little collection of excerpts from the Transcendentalist movement. It seems like it was collected for a middle-school / high school audience. The first-person recollections of living in Transcendentalist intentional communities were moving. Transcendentalism, jazz, the super hero: here are America's real accomplishments amirite.
