This is a fine book about the central importance of love in the life of individuals and the world. I didn't have the Japanese to compare it with, but my guess is that it was much better in the original, as there seemed to be much that was not translated well. Still, it was a good book written by a remarkable man.

Interesting, somewhat philosophical work by the Japanese Christian trade unionist. Includes a substantial introduction biography.

He had a few good point, but after reading half the book I grew tired of him trying to use "Social Darwinism" in his Christian arguments.
