Meh. I think if you are a person who loves hanging baskets and lots of flowers this may be a nice idea book. The pictures are lovely, but I would not call it "ultimate" as there are only a few pages dedicated to edible and herbal arrangements. The claim of 4 seasons is also dubious as it is written by a British author and therefore mild summers and winters are the baseline for her. They would not be accurate for most American readers. The bulk of the book is spent on how to paint containers or fill them with flowers. Not even a good discussion of why different plants were chosen. I would not recommend this one to others though I did pull a few ideas for polycultures from the limited edible gardening pages so I can't say it was a complete waste of time.
