His research interests include Bayesian modeling and applications of statistical thinking in sports. He has authored or coauthored several books including Ordinal Data Modeling, Bayesian Computation with R, and Workshop Statistics: Discovery with Data, A Bayesian Approach.

これは原書のCurve Ballはとてもよい本なのに、翻訳がひどすぎてとても勧められない。
だいたい「数理科学」などといかめしい邦題がついているが、原書は一般向けにやさしく書かれた本なのであって、翻訳がヘタなせいで内容以上にわかりにくく見えているだけである。
英語が読める人は、断然原書を読むことをお勧めする。
