Rate this book
This unique workbook helps quilters develop the confidence and skill they need to choose the right colors and fabrics from the dizzying spectrum found in fabric or quilting stores. Readers will learn to develop a keenly personal sense of color and choose both a "focus fabric" and supporting fabrics that will add excitement to their quilt. Once all the exercises are complete, the workbook becomes a handy reference for making color and cloth decisions at home or while shopping.

Excellent book for quilters wishing to grow in their art. Packed with great information on color theory, scale, texture. Also has practice projects and lesson plans for teachers. I did a few of the projects after reading through the book and hope to do more. It has excellent suggestions for managing and improving your fabric stash. Now one of the best quilting books in my home collection.
