This new edition of Vital Information and Review Questions for the NCE, CPCE and State Counseling Exams sticks to the successful structure of the previous versions, each of which has demonstrated to be a valuable resource for anyone preparing for these difficult exams. Two new Discs have been added to this new edition, bringing the total to 20 audio CDs and over 20 hours of programming.
The material covered on the CDs is arranged into nine major areas, containing explanations of terms, concepts, and inter-relationships between subjects. If ya know, ya know 🙃🤓 the only study guide you will need to pass the NCE

Any evaluation of this work is not based on whether or not it was enjoyable to listen to (it was, OK--probably as engaging as any study guide could be), but whether or not it was effective in helping me pass the NCE. So far so good though it didn't really feel like many of the CPCE questions flowed straight from this information.

Comprehensive review of the information the test covers. Rosenthal narrates and shows himself to be knowledgeable, with a breezy conversational style that is information-dense without being long winded. I put it on my phone and use my commutes as study sessions.

Helpful and easy to understand. Lots of repetition, but in a good way for studying.
