Great read - a classic expedition to exotic lands to explore deep caves, which ended up giving birth to the expression "to be parau'd." Sorry, can't define that without giving away the ending :-)
This is was an interesting read from the standpoint of east/west/middle-eastern relations in the early 1970s - a bit different than today!
