The concepts of electromagnetism come alive as the readers model real world problems and experiment with currents in biological tissue under electrical stimulation, for superconducting magnetic shielding, Monte Carlo methods, etc. The accompanying CD includes a fully functional version of QuickField (widely used in industry), as well as numerous demonstrations and simulations with MATLAB.
