Pulp stories defy reality with their larger than life tales, but that's no excuse for poor world building. If I was an adolescent this might be fun, but as an adult I demand more. This is a rigid RPG supplement. You are expected to play the five (strictly heroic) characters and escalate into higher skill levels by ticking off goals. What I read seemed lacking in detail and development. Maybe I'm just not the target audience, since I'm certain Paul has created other games that would appeal to me. DNF.
