All animals are well covered. The information, taxonomy, photos, etc. are first-rate. The only issue I have is the lack of an index with links to the individual animal pages. The way the book is laid out, one has to scroll through many pages to find an animal. Tough work when you are going through your photo library of 10,000+ photo images.

I like the book and appreciate the work the author did in compiling all the information. Maybe in the next edition, he can provide the suggested links.

This book has been super handy for my stay in Kenya, providing photos of the different sexes of animals, taxonomy, typical habitat/favored dwelling areas, and so on. Although it's a reference guide, during my ~1.5 years living here, I've read it cover to cover multiple times and still regularly pull it out when identifying animals/birds on a safari.
