As with all the barnyard buddie books, this deals with the animals from birth to grown up. A great story full of facts that will give a basic teaching about the animal and it's beginning stages of life. Very cute and very well done.

The more books my granddaughter and I read in this "Barnyard Buddies" series the more I enjoy them! They would make PERFECT birthday gifts to young readers that like animals. They are simple but not so simple they are boring. They are informative without being over the child's understanding level. And just the way Ms Stockland writes these are great! And in the back of the book are additional information for the 'older' reader to understand more or to research more for themselves.
