This guide describes seventeen easy day hikes in the Columbus area, with eleven being part of the Columbus Metro Parks system. The others lie within an hour's drive of downtown Columbus.
Unfortunately, the copy I read was published in 2009 and at least two of the hikes (North Bank Park and Hocking Hills) are outdated due to infrastructure improvements.
But, overall a good resource book.

I liked this because it's "pocket size", gives just enough info. so that you can determine if the hike is what you are looking for and they all include trail maps, mileage, estimated times and terrain. Perfect.
