There's a lot going on in this book. It could be used in a center and there can be activites to go along with each section of the book. For example, in the first story, the animals measure the suitcases to see which is longer and heavier. Students could do this with their bookbags or the teacher could actually bring n 2 suitcases of different sizes. Or do this with pumpkins which in in another section.

These activites are designed for students to work in pairs or in threes.
