After watching this beautifully restored 4K UHD Blu-ray of Cinderella yesterday, I went back to the supplemental materials from the 2005 Special Edition, which included several excellent documentaries and this little hardcover. While this book covers much of the same ground as those featurettes, seemingly pulling many of its direct quotes from the same interviews, it's still a wonderful compilation of the making of this striking feature animation. Enhanced with a storybook retelling of Disney's version of the iconic tale, and filled to the brim with behind the scenes photos and concept sketches, it's worth tracking down if you love the film as much as I do.

My childhood fav animated movie. Never thought there was so much involved behind Disney’s team to produce Cinderella. I used to wonder what it was like to be working behind the scene with the animation and song recording team.

This books gave me a glimpse of what it was like working with Disney’s team and hearing from others how they worked with Disney, the exceptional genius who risked to create this masterpiece.
