Tough to get through at some parts just because of technicalities and what not, but everyone should read this book. Reminded me how lucky we are to live in America and have brave soldiers fighting for us every day!!

Outstanding historical insight into Saddam Hussein by the doctor who spent the first night in captivity with Saddam. Dr. Green does an excellent job of painting life in an elite special operations task force and how the medical personnel operated to support the missions and the men. It is an easy read that reflects the challenges our soldiers and specifically our special operations soldiers face. The dialogue between Dr. Green and Saddam Hussein is intriguing and provides insight into the man not provided elswhere. Strongly recommend this book to any history buffs, military readers, and medical personnel.

Having just met the author, I was interested in his book. The night with Hussein was a very short part at the end of the book. Not as much exposition on that as I would've liked after a 4-6 hour conversation. Too much military lingo/acronyms for my taste. But a good read overall.
