Massage has been proven to provide all of these benefits and more. Now, nationally certified massage therapist Grace Wilson walks you through easy, effective massage techniques that provide a wealth of physical, mental, and emotional benefits in only ten minutes a day.
Wilson offers step-by-step instructions for simple and relaxing techniques to massage the neck, back, legs, arms, feet, face, and scalp. She also
• Relaxation techniques for both giver and recipient • Massages that are perfect for beginners • “Recipes” to combine her techniques into a full body massage
Because these low-maintenance techniques don’t require any extras such as massage tables or oils, both giver and recipient can enjoy the massage experience without the hassle of setup or cleanup (or the extra expense of these materials). So no matter how hectic your life, you can incorporate massage into your day.
Grace has taught partner massage workshops across the United States, bringing the benefits of physical touch into the lives of people everywhere. Her first book, Massage In Minutes: Simple Techniques for Anyone, Anytime, Anywhere, came from her desire to create something more user-friendly than the D-I-Y massage books currently out there. The techniques in Massage In Minutes are simple to learn, easy to perform, feel great, and are incredibly effective. She reeducates readers that, if they have ten minutes and a little bit of floor space, they can give or receive a great massage. No special equipment is needed, no oils are involved, and everything is done through loose clothing.
Massage In Minutes is available in bookstores and on-line book retailers everywhere.
So many of the back massage techniques require the person receiving the massage to either lay face-down or be sat on, neither of which my husband was game for. I did learn a few things about how to use the muscles in my arms and hands so I don't wear out as quickly.
my friend grace wilson wrote this book. it is the best guide to give your loved one a fab massage. not to mention the photos are phenomenal ;) (yay, i shot them!)
