This is a no. My 4-year-old son loves it and I hate it.

The illustrations aren't great, and the faces by themselves look creepy to me. The rhyming isn't stellar, and can actually be distracting to the little bit of a story line that they attempted to create.

My son wants me to read the story to him forwards and then backwards to see the fun flipping effect. Until he gets his own goodreads account, though, I'm rating it 1 star.

I don't get these books (I know, I know they're for babies I'm not meant to get it) but I just don't know what to do with them. They are kind of creepy and since I don't really know what the hell is going in I don't get a lot of use out of reading them to kids, I can't interact with the book and talk about what is on the page to expand the experience.
