During my time on the CDS desk, this in addition to:
1. Kothari's book on credit default swaps
2. JP Morgan's CDS guide by Blythe

were instrumental in providing an overview of CDSs, basis trading etc. Recommended for anyone interested in CDSs (although would suggest a primer on Fixed Income by Fabozzi for anyone beginning to read/learn about fixed income and derivatives).
