I write like there's no tomorrow. Ask any author who knows me. I'm thoroughly enjoying writing historical paranormal shorts. I know the plots are thin, but I've got to move fast to fit a lovestory into 15,000 words. I have two novellas releasing soon - Sweet Backlash re-releases through New Dawning International Bookfair, and Sweet Restraint is its new sequel. These are contemporary BDSM, but they're much deeper in plot and character depth. I hope you enjoy them. I'm delving into mythical creatures, and hope so see two new shorts, Minotaur and Empusa, release within the next four months or so. I'm looking to delve into Celtic myths, so if you have a favorite Celtic mythical creature you'd like to see become a hero or heroine, let me know! I welcome your input.

Melony is a woman with issues, but truth be told what girl doesn't have issues. Hers are just a little more intense than the average persons. She's a strong woman who finds herself in an unfamiliar world in order to create the boundaries and lifestyle she needs.

Chip may be new to town, but it's not the town or the new job that catapults him to fiery depths. No, it's a sexy blonde with an alternative lifestyle that drags him into the unknown.

This is a fast paced book that never slows down. From the moment Chip walks into his new office to the last page where… (sorry can't ruin the ending!) I found myself lost in the pages. The only time I needed a break was after reading Melony's backstory.

The story was well written, the characters were good, and the BDSM was interesting to say the least. I would recommend this to anyone who needs an erotic quick fix. I will more than likely be reading it again and I can't wait to read Sweet Restraint.

Most Hilarious Moment: The first time Chip showed up at Melony's apartment. I loved his reaction!

I did enjoy this story. Melony was an interest, strong woman working through a f-ed up past. Chip (not a fan of that name.....) was a compassionate, understanding man.

The 3 star rating was for a couple of reasons. First the reason behind their month long "slave" relationship was a bit contrived. Granted I can't think of a better reason, but then I'm not a writer. Second the instant love thing was another thing I just didn't buy into. And finally the big ending was a bit too easy - everything wrapped up too nicely in a big red bow.

Couldn't put this one down. The heroine is damaged but not broken. She uses her pain to grow stronger, choosing to control her own life rather than be a victim. I really respect how the author did that. The hero is definitely a man a reader can fall in love with. Assertive and independent while still being a gentleman. This couple is explosive. The story is erotic, and absolutely a romance. A month later, I read it again. Loved it just as much.

This was pretty good. I liked the story, but when the real reasons for the behavior of why she did what she did and how she was trying to take back her life- I could see. I like how he wooed her even when he did not understand it all and stuck with it.
