An excellent and assiduously researched piece of scholarship by a very intelligent author. Probably the only book about the Michael Jackson scandal that prioritizes understanding how the boys involved experienced and were affected by their relationships with him, rather than being preoccupied with defending either Jackson's reputation, or ageist stereotypes.
