The Hiding Place of Thunder
Terrible things are happening in Pushmataha County, Oklahoma. A black teen and his white girl friend have disappeared. After an altercation with white ruffians, a Choctaw Indian turns up missing as well. It's not a good time for a Jewish boy from Boston to spend time in this place where it seems minorities are suddenly unwelcome.
Sheriff Burl Hansen has his hands full even before fate forces him to bond with the boy from Boston. Hansen, though, will not heed the mystical warnings of a Choctaw holy man until it's too late to save citizens from the terror of good intentions gone awry.
In a Godly community where honorable men have strayed, only a force beyond human comprehension can intervene from The Hiding Place of Thunder.

This was amazing. At first I thought it was going to be a story about the good guys taking on the bad guys - a nice thriller but it was so much more. It touches on God and His place in the world

Un-put-down’able. Remer’s books are all excellent. This one too.

l love this book. started at a bed and breakfast and then bought to finish later.
tells a good story and hooks you quick but loses steam in middle before ending with a bang. if you get the chance I would read this book

Starts off a tad slow, but once the situations and characters are established, you just don't want to put the book down. A great thriller!

This si the first novel I had ever read by Keith Remer. It kept me wanting more and as a result I have a complete collection of Keith's books. Just one read from him and you'll be hooked.
