Esta colección de ensayos, la mayoría de ellos publicados total o parcialmente en revistas, compilaciones o folletos, casi todos agotados o difíciles de encontrar, es un complemento, profundización y ampliación de un libro anterior, «Clases sociales y capitalismo» (Endymion, Madrid, 1990), y puede verse como una segunda parte del mismo, en ningún modo como sustituto. Recogiendo la labor continuada, analiza sobre todo las estructuras de clases, y de las clases, en el capitalismo tardío, su comparación, similitudes y divergencias con las de nuestro país, y ya dentro de éste, las diferencias regionales, la particular inserción de las mujeres en la estructura y la evolución de la misma en las últimas décadas.

Daniel Lacalle is a PhD in Economy and fund manager. He holds the CIIA financial analyst title, with a post graduate degree in IESE and a master’s degree in economic investigation (UCV).Member of the advisory board of the Rafael del Pino foundation.
