J.B. Phillips insights are still fresh today. These are quickly read each day and give you a lot to chew on. He is on a par with his contemporary C.S. Lewis, but also more accessible to a casual reader. He thinks like a Christian who loves God and people, and is still in awe of God's Word. No pontificating from above. He is one of us.
