January 15, 2010Alyssa Darren, and simple working girl and part time college student who lives an ordinary life. That is until her world gets turned upside down, when she is attacked by a mugger as she heads home from work one night.
The problem wasn't the mugger though, because she is saved by the famed vigilante that is mentioned thoughout newsreports, who prowls through the streets of New York, known simply as Trè.
Trè tells Alyssa that something will occur within the next two nights, possibly more that would be life threatening to her, unless she gets help to try and survive this ordeal.
Although unbelieving, she does as she is told to her and finds help from a washed-out old newspaper reporter named Norman and a seemingly normal brash young man about her age named Jimmy Hammon.
Can she make it out this situation alive, or will time run out?
