To start with, the cover and the title both are eye catching. This is a short sweet book of around 35 pages. It has illustrations which are big, bright and colourful. Jemma Jose has done an amazing job with the illustrations for they are impactful and engaging. The pages are thick and glossy. There is also a small activity at the end of the book. Through this story children learn that some animals cannot to be kept as pet. When i read this story to my niece she asked me what are exotic animals and why they can't be kept as pet. Its a fun way of teaching kids such things. Even i got to learn a new word 'Passepartout'
Passepartout, is that you? By Menaka Raman, Illustrations by Jemma Jose 📚
Passepartout, is that you? was a beautiful and informative short children’s fiction that was awesome to read. It teaches children about different animals and what animals are endangered species. It also teaches them about what animals can be pets and what animals cannot be pets. The main character, Shyam goes in search of Passepartout, a rescued turtle in this book. It can even teach adults a thing or two.
I you have read Jules Verne's famous adventure book I don't need to remind you who is Passepartout, read and find this rib-tickling story and enjoy with the illustrations.
