You Are Your Own Divine Intervention: Transforming Your Life and Healing Yourself

Rate this book
In this groundbreaking book, Umm Zakiyyah shares how each of us has within us the divinely gifted tools to transform our lives and heal ourselves.

In July 2022, Umm Zakiyyah, internationally acclaimed author and founder of SQ Emotional Couture, became certified in Rapid Transformational Therapy ® (RTT) and hypnotherapy after training directly under the world-renowned therapist Marisa Peer, author of I Am Enough.

In this book, Umm Zakiyyah shares what happens in the mind and life of those living with unhealed emotional wounding, often due to trauma sustained in childhood. She explains how challenges with anxiety, depression, confidence, weight, and emotional eating are often due to untreated emotional wounds. Beneath these challenges, according to Marisa Peer, is one of “the three beliefs” in the subconscious I’m not enough. I’m too different. It’s not available to me.

Umm Zakiyyah shares why for survivors of trauma and abuse, treating the whole person and the whole mind (conscious and subconscious) is essential. She also clarifies the definition and benefit of hypnotherapy while dispelling common misconceptions and stereotypes about hypnosis so often held by people of faith.

As she breaks down how the mind works and how trauma affects our thinking and how we show up in life, Umm Zakiyyah shares evidences from the Qur’an and prophetic teachings that support what we now know about the mind and the role of the subconscious.
