This is the second book I have read by this author and I am very impressed again.
It's not a love romance, at least not in the common sense of this genre.
It's Jessie's dramatic love story to (Jessie) herself in first place and her first "real" relationship.

Jessie is 19 and is searching for her identity and building her beliefs.
Not only her likes and dislikes in the  society are her biggest concern, but also her sexual preferences make her question her beliefs.

Her whole life till now was a dramatic experience.
The mental condition and self-destructive chaos in her mind caused by her dramatic past and mental illness make her doubt everything and everyone in her life.

The problems described here have a lot to do with Jessie's mental state, but also the problem and doubts that all teenagers and young people are carrying with, without having anyone to talk to about it or just not being able to talk about.

It's a very emotional story that gets under your skin and leaves you reflecting on everything you have read afterward for a very long time.

This book should actually be a must-read for all young women and boys and definitely their parents.
I think we could all learn a lot from Jessie's experiences.

This book, like the first one by this author, speaks about many psychological aspects of our lives.
It's a deeply interesting and absorbing story.

What to expect:
- friends-to-lovers
- beta hero
- trauma
- bisexual hero
- depression
- suicide attempt

Men...

I read the second half of the book in one setting. The descriptions, the depictions, the emotions, I couldn’t put it down. Beautifully written about a girl with an all too recognizable voice in her head.
