John Evans of Denver: Portrait of a twentieth century banker

Rate this book
This book is based on a series of interviews with John Evans and Gladys Cheesman Evans, which took place over a period of years. Here also is the narrative his family life, for which the extensive genealogical chart at the end of the book should provide a valuable introduction. He was a Denver banker who participated in various civic and business affairs. He was the grandson of Colorado's territorial governor, William Gray Evans.
